With Deathwing reduced to pretty yellow sparkles we have saved Azeroth; albeit a little later than we'd like but scheduling conflicts outweigh the end of the world. It also seems that Thrall has been getting his groove on and we now have a bunch of very tall ex-dragons walking around.
Nice work everyone, aside from ME DEAD AT THE END it was a very smoothly executed kill.

Nothing much more to say except that it's about damn time. I'm not entirely sure why this took us so long. Firelands has not been the best raid tier for us; Delayed start, few cancelled raids here and there and some general bad luck with Legendary drops.
But no matter! It is done, and we're very happy for our new wielder : Zeira. A more deserving player could not be found. It only took Kalecgos three times to hand it over...

Look what we did! But seriously, we got around to completing this 'chieve - despite some Zoolander issues last week. For pride's sake I believe we're the second Guild on Moonglade to obtain it, but I feel that is because the others are just collecting their gear and being awesome on Ragnaros. Still, a rare-ish mount is always nice.
Good work everyone and congratulations those lucky enough to get their hands on the mount. We'll tidy up those that missed out to get one next week!

As usual, we had a week of no raids precisely when Blizzard 'did' something to the game, but it's becoming so common with us I'm thinking we should make it our motto. So anyway, I get back from holiday and see a fair few of our fine Moonglade guilds on 6/7; seems the nerfs were on Heroic too. In we went and effectively cleaned the place out. Not to use this announcement to judge, but perhaps nerfing Baleroc to the point it takes 3 tries isn't quite needed.
Thanks to everyone for their usual hard work and especially putting up with me lagging my face off and slowing down everything.

Just a small note to say that we went and did Cho'gall on Heroic tonight. We're all looking forward to having a look at Sinestra next week sometime!
Big thank you to everyone for their continued effort & success, but especially to a certain raider who is always stepping out for others due to problems beyond her control. We all hope dearly she can come back to us soon properly x

Tonight we returned to Majordomo with a new approach : Why not just fight him in Kitty the whole time? Surprisingly it worked quite well and not just that, made the fight seriously fun. I hope there are more fights in the style of that. Good work everyone and keep it up.

Nefarian Heroic Defeated!

We went back to Blackwing Descent and after some effort defeated Nefarian. Now Tanassus has become the orange Burger King and we all have a nice title to show for it. Gear did help, but coordination and execution of tactics was definitely still required. Enjoyable fight for sure.

So. It's a new week. You're bored ... what do you do? Go fight some giant fire pebbles that walk amongst us? Sure!
We went and visited Lord Heebejeebies armed with good set up, good tactics and a whole lot of 'Black' and we managed to slay him on our first night. We realise it was nerfed/balanced a bit recently but still, big thank you to everyone for putting in such outstanding work - so far skill has not been hotfixed out.

Shannox Heroic Defeated!

Righty, Ragnaros down and we heard that Heroic Shannox wasn't that difficult. He wasn't "easy" but they could have made him harder. It's nice to see really big positional fights every now and then. Anyway, he went down and nice to get some heroic gear around.
Not got the next step planned, probably Alice or Lord Hoobadajooba but great work everyone! Keep it going :D
Firelands Cleared!

Summer break is over. We got back to work, and managed to clear out Firelands. Ragnaros is an interesting fight actually. To quote a video I found "One cannot win a war of flame with a WoW player!".
On the recruitment front, we're still working things out. There are these rumours going around that Heroic Firelands requires strange group set-ups such as one tank/two healers.

It's been an interesting 3 weeks, what with summer and all. But yet our small ventures into the Firelands have yielded some interesting results. Looking forwards to getting further into them after summer break ;)
Oh and we finally found a use for Milius, well, when he's not doing dailies at least.
Heroics (7/13): Valiona & Theralion

It's hard times for sure. WoW isn't the most interesting version it ever has been. However, we occasionally can get the team together for some practice and after some hard work got Valiona and Theralion satisfactorily down! We didn't have a rogue, so with some fun rotational strategy got it down.
Personal thanks to those that were part of the Twilight Realm team for their effort, as well as everyone for trying hard when we could all make it!
